Our greatest opportunities in the kingdom are often the least glamorized in today’s society. Sharing the gospel with a meth addict, witnessing to a pregnant teen, talking about salvation with a person who has spent their life in a gang- these are all opportunities to make a difference. You and I have the privilege to work alongside the Lord Jesus Christ in this harvest field of souls.
I remember what it was like to believe that drugs were a normal part of life. I thought everyone used drugs of some kind or another. I thought everyone lied. I didn’t know that I needed Jesus in my life. I didn’t know that I needed salvation. Where would I be if someone had not left their comfort zone to reach me in my mess.
